Freemasonry is an ancient and venerable practice, which has spread across the world and unfolded into a variety of types and cultures. Many new Lodges of Masons are forming independently, seeking to work within a system that is liberal, esoteric and progressive. Our Liberal, Esoteric, and Egyptian Order offers this option, to Lodges who desire an Obedience, with a sound administration, that works the Kemetic, Gnostic and Hermetic Transmissions of the Royal Art, as well as the chance to be a part of something innovative. We are happy to offer a solution.

What are the benefits of affiliating?

We offer more than just the social connections!

When you affiliate as a Lodge into the EMO UK, you enter a safe space where your Masonic integrity and spirituality will be nurtured and protected, and your Lodge can enjoy interdependence with your fellow Masons of Egypt.


We offer all of the Rites and Rituals advertised, starting of course with your choice of which of the approved Symbolic Rites you will practice. As Full Members or Associate Members of the Order, you and your Lodge will have full access to our EMO UK Curriculum, which guides the Initiate through the necessary studies. We also offer regular online Lodges of Instruction, which are accessible from wherever you are in the world. This includes rare alchemical instructions and exercises for all Lodge Masters and Officers who work in our Order, which vastly expands upon the Mysteries of the Lodge and the Magisterial Chair.
We guarantee mutual Visitation and encourage all of our members to socialise and interact whenever they can. We have an extensive private library of rare and curated Texts and Manuscripts, as well as a variety of interesting Higher Degrees, Inner Orders and specialist Research Lodges for your Lodge Members to extend their Masonic investigations infinitely. Another benefit is that our more mystical Inner Orders are open to EMO UK Members only, so you will always be working with a fraternal-sororal crowd.


We have hundreds of unpublised and rare Lectures, Handbooks, Diagrams, Exercises, Personal Rituals, Inner Development Techniques, Ritual Analyses, Side Degrees, and so much more, all delivered with same enthusiastic and fiery spirit which should constitute the True Mason.

MASONIC EQUITY

What's the deal for Lodges?

It couldn't be simpler. We want you to get the best from your Egyptian Masonry.
The first stage is to Interview with us, in total privacy. You are also welcome to pay a visit to our Lodges. We are happy to meet "under the gavel" and there is no immediate commitment in speaking to us. If all parties are in accord, you will start the process of signing up yourself and your Lodge Members to become Full Members of the EMO UK. All EMO UK Membership is centralised. Lodges abroad will need to sign up as Associate Members, and provide certain proofs of location, membership and commitment. We will arrange your formal paperwork, and help to familiarise you with the EMO UK Administration and online community. If the Master of the Lodge requires it, we will invite them to take the 4th Degree in our Sovereign Sanctuary. There will be an EMO UK Charter Fee to pay annually, which is priced according to the size of your Membership - small Lodges pay the smallest amount, medium Lodges the next highest, and so forth. All EMO UK Members, which will now include your own Lodge, pay the same Annual Dues or its equivalent in their currency; but as your independent Lodge is already formed, we will take a moderate Capitation of that Fee, and the remainder is for your growth. Our Annual Dues cover the cost of Tuition, the Curriculum, online access, and various Administrative Fees of the Order (all Fees are non-refundable and prompt payment is mandatory).
All your Members have the individual opportunity to receive the Higher Degrees in our Sanctuary, should they qualify. Our teachings are in the medium of English, but translations are possible. When you grow large enough, we offer the option of advancing your Candidates into some of these Degrees locally.

What is the EMO UK mission?

Our Mission is very simple.


We want to provide an excellent service to the public and our Masonic Brethren worldwide; to provide access to the Wonders and Mysteries of the Egyptian Rite, and Egyptian Masonry; to give every interested person the opportunity to access a more spiritual, esoteric and progressive form of the Masonic Art: one that exalts the Soul and the Spirit directly; as well as performing the dutiful functions of charitable endeavours, social adhesion, and mutual support, common to all forms of Masonry.


We want to bring the Immaculate Symbols of the Egyptian Rite to life for our Brethren, our Members, and our Initiates, so that they may benefit from the influx of Light, Life, Love, and Responsible Liberty.

Full Membership

FULL MEMBERSHIP - Full Members must obey all Lodge Summonses and attend in person all Lodge Meetings in their Jurisdiction, as well as studying online. The Lodge which initiates them will become their Mother Lodge for the Symbolic Degrees. Lodge Attendance is mandatory.

Full Members are joining non-Masons. They must receive their Initiations and Elevations in person.

Affiliate Membership

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP - Affiliated Masons must obey all Summonses and attend all Lodge Meetings in their Jurisdiction, as well as studying online. Lodge and Sanctuary Attendance is mandatory.

Affiliate Members are joining Masons; Masons of any Rite are welcome. They may apply for Associate Membership depending on their location.

Associate Membership

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - Associate Members must only attend in person for their Lodge or Sanctuary Initiations and Elevations, but may otherwise study remotely, and meet online.

Associate Members are new applicants and Affiliating Masons living abroad, outside of an EMO UK Jurisdiction. They must be able to travel to an EMO UK Lodge to receive their Initiations.
