H.O.M.

The Holy Order of Martinists practises the mystical Hermetic-Christian tradition of Martinism, which began in France, revealed by the first S:. I:., Louis Claude de Saint Martin, and originally constituted by the French occultist Papus.

There are three Initiations: Associate, Companion and S.'.I.'., which mirror the Symbolic Degrees of French Masonry. The administrative degree is S.'.I.'.I.'., which is philosophical and leads to the portal of the Elus Coens.

The Rites are gentle and reverent in nature, with study, prayer and contemplation used to draw the Initiate Martinist closer to union with the Divinity within them.
