Gnostic Knights Templar

The Gnostic Knights Templar is a mystical chivalric Order in the Gnostic Universalist tradition (not Patristic, Catholic or Christian), training Master Masons in the knightly virtues espoused by the Grand Military Orders of the past, such as the Knights Templar, the Knights of St John Hospitaller, and the Cathars.

The Lesser Noble Order operates in the Prefectory, the Encampment and the Templum Minor. It conveys the Degrees of Maitre Ecossais, Squire, and Knight of Three Grades: KBHS, Professed and Grand Professed. Knight Grades require Knightly dress.

The Greater Temple Order works in the Preceptory, the Chapel, the Templum Major, and the Grand Priory. It conveys the Degrees of Knight Universal, Knight of the Gnosis, Knight Preceptor, Prior, and Priest. Knightly full dress is mandatory.

Members are expected to make a devoted study of the arts of knighthood, heraldry and chivalry, and the protection of the vulnerable and of the human right to live, thrive and worship freely, as well as the great noetic mysteries of the Gnosis - a direct, personal, ethical and responsible connection to Divinity - from which our noble Order draws its hieratic, spiritual and metaphysical symbolism.

The Works are mystical, military, progressive, gnostic and theurgical in nature, open to sympathetic people of all genders, orientations and faiths.
